Indigenous language revitalization plays a vital role in preserving culture, resisting colonization, and strengthening communities. This systematic review synthesizes 35 studies (2011–2024) on the role of digital technologies in global revitalization efforts. Six key themes emerge: (1) access and learning opportunities, (2) intergenerational transmission and Elder engagement, (3) language ideologies and digital barriers, (4) community-driven design and self-representation, (5) creative digital practices, and (6) decolonizing approaches. While digital tools foster access and expression, challenges persist, particularly around infrastructure and colonial ideologies. This study offers insights for equitable, community-led revitalization, reinforcing Indigenous sovereignty and cultural resilience.
