dc.description.abstract | Access to credible and trustworthy nutrition information is critical to effectively address nutrition mis-/dis-information and promote healthy dietary behaviours. However, the nutrition information sources and channels and the perception and impacts of nutrition mis-/dis-information are largely unknown in Canada. Therefore, this work developed and validated a comprehensive measurement tool to capture data on Canadians' sources and channels of nutrition information, trust in these sources, and experiences with the nutrition infodemic. Through expert validation, the tool achieved high content and face validity scores. The tool will provide novel insights related to nutrition information that can be used in public health interventions. | |
